Don’t Forget
Your Bombard

Eloise Schultz

There are bagpipes in heaven!
All of the angels play banjos!
Between Serbian brass sets
a dozen teenagers in dirndls
stomp like Nestinarski! This
is their favorite dance. They
love to hiss over the hot coals.
If you want to try, it’s never
too late in Paradise. Join hands
and lean in like you’re about
to hear a secret. I’ll tell you one
right now: for the next hour
there’s going to be yodeling.
